The Among Friends Bookstore is located just inside the library entrance to the right, and we sell gently used books, magazines, video tapes, DVD’s, Blu Rays, compact discs, and other items which have all been donated by our members and patrons of the bookstore. Our inventory changes daily as a result of the new donations we regularly receive.
We have a large selection of fiction, which runs the entire back wall of the bookstore. All fiction is $1.00. Additionally, we have hundreds of paperbacks. We also regularly receive large print books, classic fiction, and science fiction.
Our non-fiction selection is also very well stocked. Whether you are interested in philosophy and religion or gardening or sports or history or cooking…we have it all and then some. All of our non-fiction is very well priced and also is constantly changing.
If it’s magazines you are looking for, we have those too. Priced as low as $.10 for weekly magazines up to $.25 for monthlies, you are sure to find something you are looking for.
And for our younger patrons, we have children’s books ranging in age from toddlers to teens.
Come in and check us out. You almost definitely will not leave empty handed.
